Kew Gardens was fun. I could imagine becoming a member of Kew if I lived nearby. It would be fun to come back a few times, and really see everything. Here is The Treetop Walkway with some nice views...

The ride home on Eurostar - Standard Premier

Eurostar has three classes of service, Standard, Standard Premier, and Business. I lived it up a little on the return journey and booked a ticket in Standard Premier, which includes a light meal. As

You can see, it was quite nice. Salmon with a carrot-lentil side, a roll with butter, a bottle of wine, and a chocolate raspberry dessert. Coffee and tea were also offered.

It was not easy to capture the beauty of the French countryside, as the train was traveling so fast.

Trying to do better than Brick Lane

Trying to be clever, I decided to try the curry house mentioned in this article from The Guardian in July of 2012 (http://www.theguardian.com/travel/2012/jul/27/london-top-five-curry-houses). Needoo Grill, a "short stroll" from Brick Lane (I hopped on a bus). I ended up with a tasty but oily late lunch. This rib sticking lunch hit the spot, as I had tickets to the theatre... Billy Elliott... which was wonderful.

Paris! July 23rd - 26th

Two days in Paris is not enough to see all the sites and sample the food...

The Eiffel Tower is such a popular destination that it is necessary to reserve tickets ahead or stand in a queue for a long time. I did neither... So my viewing was restricted to what I could see from ground level.
